When can I start training my new puppy?

June 19, 2014 by

Our Foundations program can begin when a puppy leaves the litter at about 8 weeks of age.  As soon as you bring your puppy home, every interaction affects your relationship and his understanding of how to live happily with you. During puppy development, our Foundations program, we show you how to develop character in your new puppy, how to strengthen your connection, and how to lay the foundation for more challenging adult training starting around 6 months of age.

(Foundations training is so important, we’ll create an abbreviated adult version if your dog is already over 6 months of age.)
