Prescott K9 Academy offers a selection of dog training classes from groups to private lessons and Board & Train programs. We approach dog training as a focused process with a clear beginning, middle, and end — a finish line to cross so you and your dog can enjoy a full, free life together. Group classes help you accomplish your goals with your dog, and give everyone an opportunity to gain confidence and improve their handling skills in a friendly setting.
Group Dog Training Classes
Our group classes go straight to the solutions pet owners most often need to gain a solid footing with their dogs. We focus on fun, useful exercises that will help right away. And we’re especially good at people coaching!
You’ll learn to stop doing things that get in the way of good training and start doing the things that lead to success. From games, to obedience exercises, to everyday lifestyle solutions, our group classes give you the tools, the techniques, and the confidence to make life more enjoyable for you and your dog.
Training a dog includes a lot of people training, too. To get the most out of training, you’ll learn some new skills and how to use them dynamically in your daily life. We aim for calm confidence in our dogs and our people. We want you to feel your best and our organized approach and clear instruction will get you there.

We give careful consideration to each individual puppy and provide strategies to develop a balanced temperament for your particular pup. Expect to encounter new thinking and develop new training skills — this is a really thorough puppy development course and our format provides more individual instruction than standard group classes.
